The cozy lounge area was perfect, and I also appreciated the well-kept garden for a nice walk. Just a heads up, the shower could spill a bit of water on the floor, but it's a minor thing overall-definitely recommend checking this place out 😊

Overall had very very good stay on a business trip. The location was perfect, just 5 min walk from a memorial center. Besides, it was just off a shopping area, the tram and the center on walking distance to the market. The room was compact and good-sized, but best of all was city view. The breakfast was wonderful and included.

The hotel has friendly and multilingual staff.
I was disappointed by the high noise level, especially since my room was right by the Main Street. The Wi-Fi connection was almost non-existent, challenging to stay connected. To top it off, the breakfast options were quite limited, and I found the choices unappealing compared to what I had hoped for.

it's a nice, beautiful hotel
free wifi, or better fare structure! it corporate with Tele.com, and charge 8 euro for 1 hr, 29 for whole month. it appears that 29 euro for whole month is always better, but who will stay in a hotel for a month?! a reasonable, customize fare of wifi is truly important

Staying for a quick visit to the Cathedral of Essen, I appreciated how close the hotel was to local attractions like Limbecker Platz shopping center and the museum. The room was well-decorated, clean, and comfortable. One nice surprise was the breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety of options, something you don't often see. A decent experience that hit the mark for my needs.

The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. All the staff spoke excellent English which was obviously a bonus. We were over for the Eurovision Song Contest and they gave us maps and travel tips of how to get around Essen and Dusseldorf. Extremely helpful.
Nothing - we loved it!

Good quality business hotel with a nice restaurant - perfect for business travellers like me who arrive too late to go out to dinner. Essen is not an attractive town anyway (I used to live nearby).
The rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy in a morning if you have the window open as it is located on the Essen inner ring road. The breakfast is very expensive!

All staff extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is easy to reach and located adjacent to the main shopping area in the city center. Usually a taxi or two out in front. Restaurant is very good thought with a limited menu. Bar is OK but very small. Under hotel parking is secure.

We enjoyed the scenic hiking paths nearby and caught an outdoor concert in the summer. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just a heads up, parking costs extra, so plan accordingly. It was a solid choice for our group.

I was sent here by a holiday company as part of the package to see a football match in Dortmund, 20 miles away! The hotel was fine but was situated in a very 'unrourist' city. The hotel has excellent facilities if you need to visit Essen. I cannot imagine why you would unless for business, fortunately the weather was very sunny all weekend and the pavement cafe's were available and open. Having a day free we walked to a massive coal mining museum three miles away, this follows a tram route all the way so part walking is a possibility. If you have room only I recommend meals out in the City nearby as prices are high!Transport links around the city are impressive.
